Richard Lee Byers is certainly both of those things and it is his professionalism, dedication to craft and generous friendship that we are celebrating with this League Entertainment Spotlight. A little background… Richard Lee Byers holds a master's degree in Psychology. He worked in an emergency psychiatric facility for over a decade, then left the mental health field to become a writer. He is the author of more than thirty novels. If you haven't read Richard's work, try starting with his new Forgotten Realms trilogy, Brotherhood of the Griffon. You don't have to be a Dungeons & Dragons fan to enjoy these well polished fantasy gems. Our favorite Richard Lee Byers stories? Kingsfire and Plague Knight. Richard's coolest trait?  If you say his full name out loud, it sounds like your naming a serial killer or presidential assassin.
